1) Install as trial
2) Disable the phone-home by one of following methods:
* add "127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com" to the hosts file (Windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts)
* Apply the patch to disable the phone-home code. (in keygen)
* You should be able to use a firewall like Eset's to disable Photoshop/Adobe Updater from accessing the internet.

Make sure your hosts file has this entry (only if 'patch hosts file' fails)
If windows says that it can't save this this file then make sure that
this file is NOT read only. If it is then right click the hosts file in "
C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\etc " see its properties and uncheck the
read only box.

Instructions: For 64 bit versions of Windows such as Win 7 x64 two copies of amtlib.dll must be replaced. (backup your original amtlib.dll)
